Mission Statement
Biblical Theological Seminary of Jordan exists to equip Servant-leaders
to start and strengthen churches and ministries in the Arab World.
Core Values
The Church: We are committed to the church as God’s primary organization through which He works in this age. We desire to emphasize the importance and the purpose of the church through our teaching, through encouraging local churches around us and emphasizing the need to plant, encourage and strengthen churches.
Bible-based Education: We are committed to providing a high quality, academically challenging education that has the Bible alone as its foundation. We will constantly strive to be Biblical in our teaching, in our attitudes and in the application of our teaching. We believe the Scriptures are able to thoroughly equip the student for ministry and life.
Servanthood: We are committed to producing leaders who follow Christ’s example of humility in leadership. We will seek to model this attitude in our staff, in our courses, in our dealings with students and with those around us. We believe that the highest position one can reach in God’s service in that of servant.
Integrity: We are committed to maintaining personal, academic and financial integrity. We believe that no school, teacher, or student can succeed in glorifying God without this vital principle. We believe we must provide things honestly before all men if we are to see God’s hand of blessing upon us.
Academic Excellence: We are committed to being a school with high academic excellence. We seek to maintain a high standard of teaching and curriculum and will demand commitment and excellence from both staff, faculty and student body. We will work with others institutions to assure that our courses meet the commonly held standards for equivalent courses around the world.
Mentoring: We are committed to mentoring our students so that they learn to follow Christ through our interaction. We desire to see students graduate and go on to pour their lives into others, reproducing a Christ-like servant’s attitude in the next generation of servants.
Partnership: We are committed to creating and maintaining strategic partnerships both locally and globally. We believe that we must work together with like-minded individuals and ministries for the glory of God and the furtherance of the gospel. We seek to help even as we are helped by others, that we might accomplish more together than we could separately.
